Albert Černý is the frontman of the band Lake Malawi. In 2019, he represented the Czech Republic at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song Friend of a Friend, which he co-wrote and which was created at a Czech songwriting camp. Albert has opened for Thirty Seconds to Mars, Mika and The Kooks. His work can be heard on Czech radios, in films and also as a jingle in Leo Express trains. He has won four Anděl Awards for original songs recorded with the band Charlie Straight. Apart from songwriting and music production, he also runs a podcast and an offline project Vlnění with his wife Bára.
