David Urban is the founder of D Smack U Promotion, which has been organizing events in clubs and halls in the Czech Republic and Slovakia for almost 30 years. He is also the organizer of the legendary festival Jelení příkop and co-founder of the Slovak festival Grape. He has brought to the Czech Republic artists such as Pixies, QOTSA, The Air, Groove Armada, Michael Kiwanuka, George Ezra, Faithless, Hurts, Tom Odell, Incubus, Wu Tang Clan and others.
