Jan Freidinger studied international relations and fisheries and water conservation. He has spent most of his professional life working for Greenpeace, where he has led successful projects on issues such as toxic and plastic pollution reduction, ocean conservation, community energy, global deforestation and deep-sea mining. He is helping the Rock for People Festival become the greenest festival in the world in 2020.
