Prague Music Week
Awards Coordinator & Head of Advancing
“What is the future of the music industry? Is it Females? AI technologies? Respectful and safe environment in both events and offices? Bigger and better stages, or on the contrary, sustainable and thought through approach towards basically everything? Come and discuss with us!”
Kamila started by organizing student concerts in her hometown in Moravia, and after moving to Prague she volunteered to become the head of the largest scouts event in the Czech Republic. At just 23 years old, she became the director of the legendary United Islands of Prague festival in the capital centre, which she led for two years. After that she was part of both the booking and production team of the Rock for People festival with an annual attendance of 40 000 visitors. In the past she was also part of the Pohoda and Let It Roll festivals.
Kamila is Head of Advance at Prague Music Week and this year she is also managing a new project called Prague Music Week Awards. Her favourite shows are a bit punk ones in basement venues, and she is currently open to any new work challenges.
