MAREK VOHRALÍK
Prague Music Week, Director
Marek, the founder and director of Prague Music Week, has been managing Beatworx, one of the biggest promoter groups in the Czech Republic running festivals such as Let It Roll, Frontline and Imagination, for the last 6 years. He is also a co-founder of the FESTAS festival association, which he managed in its early days and established as an important professional association advocating the interests of music festivals not only in relation to public administration.
During more than 15 years of working with music festivals, Marek has also been involved in fundraising or innovative projects such as the introduction of cashless payment methods at festivals and concerts. Music festivals captivated him and still do today, mainly for the spirit of freedom they can create. His favourite bands are the Rolling Stones and Boysetsfire.
