The legendary band Precedens celebrates 40 years since its formation this year. The band has released their current EP Marie Bladová, a sort of preview of their future album, which will be released next year. And in addition to touring the current incarnation of the band, Precedens will celebrate the release of a remastered version of their first cult album, Ice Age, at Malostranská Beseda on November 6. Special guests of the evening will be Bára Basiková and Jan Sahara Hedl. The current Precedens, although a legend playing in various formations for four decades, now comes with great energy, commitment, with an excellent distinctive singer and a group of absolutely top young musicians. In 2023, a Czech Television documentary called Precedens 40+ is also being made. This will not only chart the history of this musical legend, but a significant part of it will be a recording of a concert of the current line-up from the Akropolis Palace.
