Nèro Scartch has come out with a new music and visual concept called ’Purpl Boi’, which is based on genre diversity. Extensive compositions and non-repeating passages sometimes reminiscent of electronic symphonies, and combined with visuals by graphic artist Natalie Peckova, create a unique world with infinitive space for imagination, dreaming, and interpretation.
After the release of the first single, an eight-minute opus titled “PURPL,” the entire four-track EP called “PURPL SUMMR” is now available. It blends genres such as EBM, industrial, dance music, as well as noise and psychedelia.
Purpl Boi intentionally fits the songs into shorter and consistent albums, where each mini-album serves as an open window into the author’s ambiguous inner self. Each subsequent EP will be different from the previous ones, whether in atmosphere or by leaping into completely different musical genres. This gives uniqueness to each EP because it musically captures mood of an era that will not be repeated.
Next single from the second EP will be released by the end of 2023.
