Sabina Ludányiová made herself known to the world in 2015 with her debut album Naked, the title song of which she made a music video for. After recording the album, she formed a band, with which she recorded the single Ink in 2017 and this year presented the album Maják. She filmed the music video for the eponymous song, full of captivating tones and thoughts, in faraway Denmark on the North Sea coast. The lighthouse that can be seen in the music video was moved further away from the coast a few weeks later, due to the risk of crashing into the sea, so Sabina and her team were the last ones to capture the monument in its original location. At the time Sabina was making the CD and video she was shooting a time-lapse documentary over a period of two years, which completed the visual backdrop to the very powerful song ‘Method’, which can also be found on the album.
Genre-wise, this Prague-based band is classified as pop, but there are also elements of other genres such as rock or folk in their songs, so they appeal to a wide audience and please any age group. The lyrics and music mostly come from the frontwoman’s pen, but the end result is a reflection of the work of the precise and professional musicians in the band itself.
