Simon Semrau has been responsible for the European and African label management team at The Orchard since 2018, overseeing integration projects and performing onboarding. Prior to that, Simon spent 6 years as Head of Client & Label Care at German Indie distributor finetunes. He entered the music industry in 1998 as a dispatcher, VA technician and FOH engineer in the live music and event space. Subsequently, Simon lectured at the SAE Institute in Hamburg and Berlin and worked as a freelance production manager and engineer on the side. He also ran and curated an event space in Hamburg for ten years.
