Honza Vedral (1981) is a Czech journalist and editor-in-chief of the music magazine Headliner. Since 2017 he has been the chairman of the Czech Academy of Music and is an active musician on the Czech scene, including playing saxophone in the Czech-British band The Chancers. He is the author of the books Miro Žbirka: Zblízka (2016), The Incredible Ivan Král (2019), Roy Ellis: The Boss Skinhead (2023) and Katherine (2023), and co-author of Meky (2020), Blue Album: The Making Of (2021) and Ivan – King of Three Chords (2023). For ČT Art he is preparing the series Doupě and in 2022 he was one of the curators of the exhibition Years and Days at the National Museum in Prague and Bratislava Castle.
