Iva Zvěřinová is a researcher at the Centre for Environmental Issues and the Centre for Socio-Economic Environmental Policy Impacts Research (SEEPIA) at Charles University. Her research focuses on environmental sociology and economics. In particular, she investigates public attitudes towards environmental policies and factors explaining environmental impact behaviours (waste sorting, tap water consumption, energy consumption, cycling, electric cars, etc.). She has conducted a number of Czech and international questionnaire surveys and published the results in international academic journals. She has cooperated with research and international organisations, e.g. OECD, European Chemicals Agency, IDEA CERGE-EI, CASE. She teaches environmental sociology at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, Department of Sociology. Since 2020 he has been studying pro-environmental behaviour of participants of open-air summer festivals in the Czech Republic within the TAČR project with colleagues from ČZU, Augiášův chlév s.r.o. and Beatwork s.r.o.
