Writing a hit isn’t rocket science, it’s just a little harder. Pop music is not just one genre today, and it also requires writers to have multiple skills at the same time. Not only can you produce a hit in a hotel room or in your bedroom thanks to today’s technical opportunities, but you also need to learn the essential skill: the art of collaboration.
Jan Vávra, an experienced songwriter, together with producer Rony Janeček, will share their knowledge and practical tips for creating melodies, lyrics and arrangements that have a chance to reach a wide audience. During a short masterclass and workshop you will learn whether it is possible to create a playable song in one hour, what are the tricks and tips for creating a song that can survive centuries, and what definitely not to try at home. Participants are welcome to join!
